Make Me Fall started with a bang, I was so engrossed! However, as they started to get to know each other the good tension fizzled away. They gave me an impression of a couple who were together for over 20 years. 🤷♀️The relationship become boring and I struggled to keep going.
And FFS!!!!! Why did Gray have to lose Oliver's case to his loser ex???😤

Oh, yes. So many books start with a bang, but not many can keep it up. That's why I sometimes find reading samples deceiving. 😉 Sorry you didn't enjoy this one more, Jan! ❤️

But at least the sample gives me a chance to spot if I will connect with the writing and I really appreciate that. 😅😅 It doesn't always work though, otherwise I wouldn't have a single DNF. 😖
At least you ended up with 3 stars that is not bad. 🥳 Book 1 was a miss for me, so I will let this one rest. Your review has sealed it. 🙈🥰

This one was much better though. Jonah was a well-developed character. It's a lovely story, don't take me wrong, BUT it turned out flat for my taste. xx

Ahh okay, good to know. 😍 I might give it a try when the mood strikes. 😍
I the case was lost because we're supposed to want to read the next book in the series, but Oliver and his kid didn't grab my attention at all. But I agree with you, it left the story of Grey a bit of a downer.
