A fact from Farrah Fawcett red swimsuit poster appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 27 August 2020 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
I moved the description to an ALT in the image, because I felt there was too much excessive detail. For example, "The tight fit of the swimsuit outlines her nipples in the fabric." is borderline pornographic. I appreciate we need to accommodate the needs of blind people who can't see the image, but accommodating them is not the same as giving them free "whacking material". I recall learning shortly after this poster came out, that the word "sex" can be seen in the curls of her hair, suggesting this was a subliminal message responsible for the poster's success. It occurred to me today to hunt for sources. Hard to find, but here are a couple:
