It's SO hard to put into words what I felt while reading this one. It's another freebie I got from Amazon and again I auto-clicked because I thought we're going to get a HOT FATED MATES story.
"HEAT" it actually an M/M Gay Shifter Mpreg Romance... My bad, I didn't check the blurb. So it's only my fault. I had no idea while diving in about the Mpreg thing. I'm not a fan, actually I can't remember if I've read about this before, but I knew, I just knew it's not my thing. I can't for the love of God, wrap my head around it and be OK with it. Not even in a fantasy or fated mates or shape shifter story.
Dane is a shape shifter dragon and he finds his mate in a human. They share this strong bond and have wild sex. Dane is afraid his mate will die while being pregnant. He leaves him. Then he returns and takes his responsibility. They love each other. They have A LOT of sex. They deliver the baby dragon and the Epilogue shows us a happy family with friends. The end.
Unfortunately this was not my cup of tea. But it's a novella and I was able to finish it pretty quickly. Now I can honestly say Mpreg is NOT for me, I tried it and it didn't do anything for me....more

I got this as a freebie from Amazon and I must admit I enjoyed the cover and the blurb seemed interesting. Well the story was not. I wanted SO much more. It was supposed to be full of action. I had too high hopes for this one. At least it was free and not very long. I was able to finish it pretty quickly.
I didn't really like the main characters. They were supposed to be strong men, but they acted like teenagers... There's not much steam.
I won't continue this series because I just couldn't get interested in the secondary characters either....more

So, this one was lighter than I expected. We get a MFM scene pretty early in the book. To say I wasn't happy reading about the two MCs sharing a nameless woman, is a big understatement. Then the MCs ignore their attraction and feelings... and boom, pretty fast they are in love, ready to move in together.
I'm not sure what I expected, but this wasn't for me. I need more angst in my books.
The writing was good and there are some pretty hot scenes, but overall I can't say this one was a remarkable story. If you're into sweet and light stories, maybe it will work better for you.
My first book by this author, but I enjoyed this one. It wasn't too angsty, it kept my interest. Daddy/boy isn't one of my favorite tropes bu3,5 stars

We get some hot scenes, but only a few. It felt kind of rushed and they jumped right into a relationship and popped the L word way too fast for my taste. Overall this was light and a sweet Christmas story, with a HEA. It just wasn't for me....more

I usually love age gaps between the main characters, but here it didn't work for me. The romance was nice, but a little too predictable. Maybe it's just me here, not the book. Feel free to try it and if you enjoy low on angst stories, maybe you'll like it more than I did....more

I planned on reading only MM books in 2019, but a coworker borrowed it to me saying it's a great one. Unfortunately it wasn't a great story for me. Maybe because I had high expectations? I don't know. But what I do know is that I am NOT a fan of this author's writing and that this #1 New York Times Bestseller didn't work for me. It ended being only an OK read, but nothing more. The blurb is pretty interesting, and I expected much more! This story was LONG and extremely boring at times. There are too many characters and scenes that don't really matter. I didn't care for most of the characters. They were egotistical and I didn't agree with their choices AT ALL.
I'm sorry to give this one only 2 stars, but it just wasn't my cup of tea and the ending wasn't satisfying....more

I finished this one days ago but really didn't know what to write about it. If it wasn't for some highlights that really spoke to me, I would have DNF this one. At first I laughed about some scenes and characters and I found it very ... strange, repetitive, boring at times, extremely unbelievable some other times. I got angry about the immaturity of a main character and even if it was HOT... the hot and cold didn't work for me here. BUT, I can't believe it surprised me at one point and I'll have to admit I really didn't see it coming.
I'll go with 2 stars because it was an OK read in the end. I'm not a fan of the writing and I am NOT curious to read the second book....more

Enemies to lovers is one of my favorite tropes and I really hoped to enjoy this book. Well it was just OK and I enjoyed some parts of it. The writing was good but there were some parts that didn't work for me. The action was too slow for my taste, Trey wasn't at all a bastard and the main characters weren't actually enemies. This story could have been shorter and with a little more speed. It wasn't what I expected from this author and it felt ... common. Well we can't love them all, right?...more
