I received my training in experimental hematology at the Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion in Prague, Czech Republic, and the Paterson Institute for Cancer Research in Manchester, UK. Currently, I serve as the Chief Scientific Officer at the Coriell Institute for Medical Research.
Before joining the Coriell Institute, I held the position of a professor at the Fels Institute for Cancer Research at Temple University in Philadelphia. Prior to that, I was a faculty member at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
My primary research interests revolve around epigenetics, with a specific focus on the role of DNA methylation in aging and cancer development.
